Bluestream Capital is a seed-stage venture capital firm established in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and managed by Moataz Farouk and Hussein Heiba. We invest early and stay close — combining institutional financial discipline with decades of hands-on operating experience across the Gulf, Egypt and Africa.

We look for founders solving real problems in large markets, where revenue can be earned in hard currency and where a business built in one market can be exported to the next. Beyond capital, we bring governance, board representation, embedded finance and operations support, and a network that opens doors across the region.

Moataz is the CEO of C2X Egypt, leading a major e-methanol project, and has over 26 years of experience in finance and investments. He previously served as Group CFO at Canal Sugar and Galaa Holdings, and led investment and transformation transactions of around USD 2.5 billion.
